This project involves the design for a new 350 seat theatre and arts centre behind an existing 19th century façade, maximising the commercial potential of this West End site, which was originally built in 1822 as a Drill Hall for the Bloomsbury Rifles, and currently operates as a 200-seat theatre. The project included new front and back of house facilities arranged around a central atrium such as foyers, ticket office, bar, dressing rooms, larger studios, greenrooms and accommodation for visiting artists. The complex is arranged around a central skylit atrium.
