Introduction
A project for a modern banking hall and offices within a 1920s building.
This scheme comprises the conversion of a nine storey existing building on Moorgate to the new premises for the African Continental Bank.
The banking hall is formed by extensive changes to the floor levels, creating one large space by removing the existing ground floor and replacing a lower floor at street level. This facilitates the use of the lower level as office accommodation providing natural daylight and views to the street.
