Private House in Hampstead

Taking a revolutionary view of the concept of 'house', this three-storey dwelling extends outwards to sunny terraces and gardens on all levels. Inside, glass stairs and floors over the swimming pool and double-height rooms give views up and bring natural light, sunshine and shimmering reflections off the water throughout the house. Views from the house to adjacent buildings are carefully controlled by the placement of the windows, translucent screens and landscaping to limit overlooking. The white of the external render and internal walls set off oak, carpet, and Cumbrian slate floors, maple doors and wardrobes, blue pool glass tiles, and etched and clear glass screens and balustrades.

It's in London and it's a lovely white house on a hill (but not as you'd imagine it)
