An established landmark close to Tower Bridge, this prestigious office building attained the highest BREEAM rating for any building in London. Careful low energy design together with the incorporation of a central landscaped court enabled the development on this deep site to be naturally lit and ventilated. In turn, this allowed storey heights to be reduced, yielding a further floor whilst respecting the scale and height of adjacent buildings. Completely filling the site to reinforce the surrounding urban street pattern, at night the building acts as a beacon along a busy thoroughfare. To the rear projecting triangular windows are etched to ensure privacy to the neighbouring residential building. |
