ISMA Centre University of Reading

Distinctive, modern and situated on a prominent site at the entrance to the main campus, the ISMA banking school reflects the research and study carried out within for the Zurich-based International Securities Markets Association. With large areas of glass internally, the environment of City dealing rooms is reproduced. Open plan offices are arranged around a double height common space to encourage the interaction of students and staff. Fully glazed facades open on to a sunny terrace to the south and parkland views to the north whilst a café adjacent to the main entrance spills out on to the terrace. Arranged on two floors, the ISMA building is designed to allow for future expansion.
