Forming the initial phase in the wider masterplan for the regeneration of South Kilburn, the scheme will provide 133 high quality sustainable new homes for the residents occupying the site's existing Bison blocks as well as a number of private sale dwellings.

The design is configured around two blocks separated by a north /south public route which builds on the aspiration for a landscaped green route identified in the original masterplan.

All units will be constructed to meet Lifetime Homes standards with over half of the proposed residential units affordable housing, and nearly a quarter of these family sized homes. All units will be provided with private amenity space in the form of private gardens or balconies and green roofs will also be incorporated to enhance ecological value and encourage biodiversity.

Dave Carroll, Head of Policy & Projects for the London Borough of Brent said, "Brent Council in bringing forward the scheme has sought very high design quality: this sets the standard for future phases of the redevelopment of South Kilburn".
