Aiming to retain the borough's high achieving students within its catchment, Newham Collegiate blends the historic red brick and terracotta surroundings with state of the art teaching facilities for science and mathematics.

The Sixth Form Centre will act as a stepping stone for young people towards the UK's leading colleges and universities.

Utilising three council owned Grade II listed buildings, the project is the latest phase to be implemented as part of the wider campus works programme. On the adjacent site, a new Library and Customer Service has recently completed and will open to the public next month.

The first of the Newham Collegiate buildings containing teaching facilities opens in September 2014, with the following buildings housing library, tutorial and support spaces opening the following year.
