Rick Mather Architects developed a competitive tender scheme which was awarded a place on the Architecture, Design and Urbanism Framework Lot 3 - Site masterplanning & development feasibility.

The image above shows RMA's initial proposals for a new urban park landscape on the Western side of the Greenwich Peninsula - a creative approach to maximize the development opportunity whilst utilizing the existing elements of the site.

"The Architecture, Design and Urbanism framework, was procured jointly by the Greater London Authority and Transport for London. Up to £30 million of work is expected to be tendered through it across a three-year period.

The framework was due to be established by October 2012 but the dissolution of Design for London scuppered the original timeline and successful practices were confirmed last week - one year after the scheduled date. As well as being open to the GLA and TfL, the panel will be available to the London Legacy Development Corporation, London boroughs and housing associations."
